Imbas: Kapal Berita Untukmu Malaysia By Kapal Berita 29/10/2000 9:29 am Sun |
Indeks BSKL mula turun setelah Mahathir menyudahkan ucapan
kemerdekaan 31 Ogos lalu. Selepas itu ia menggelongsor
tak sudah-sudah sehingga mencecah dibawah 700. Tiba-tiba ia
naik kembali sebaik sahaja Mahathir pulang dari CAMUS tempoh
hari.
maruah negara: Negatif
Perhatikan permainan saham pada hari belanjawan:
1517 [Dow Jones] MALAYSIA: OCBC Investment Research says Composite Index
outperformed regional markets by 13%-22% in last two weeks but 76% of gains
came from top 10 index heavyweights supported by institutional funds and not
from broad-based gains; "buying support came largely from EPF, PNB and Khazanah
while participation from foreigners was extremely low." Expects funds to take
profit on big caps before year-end, especially in view of MSCI's proposed
free-float weighting methods. Malaysia's free float of 30% low compared with
other markets.(VGB) - Yahoo Dow Jones 3:17pm report
1557 [Dow Jones] MALAYSIA: Composite Index down 0.7% at 790.49 in cautious
trade; investors largely sidelined in minutes before release of 2001 budget,
says trader. Expects index to have mild reaction to budget as volume thin with
many investors away for long weekend.
Likely government-linked and institutional funds will provide buying support in
index-linked stocks; says index likely trade in 785-795 range. Volume now 106
million shares worth MYR283.4 million; with falls beating rises 280 to 216 while
165 unchanged and 344 untraded.(VGB) 1610 [Dow Jones] MALAYSIA: Finance Ministry's announcement country's external
debt will rise 2.3% next year following declines of 2.6% this year and 0.6% in
1999 has some market observers speculating Malaysia could be laying groundwork
for new sovereign bond issue.(NHW) Bloomberg Article: Malaysia mulls $1.3 billion bond issue:
Malaysia plans to spend about 5 billion ringgit ($1.3 billion) to bail
out Kuala Lumpur's light rail, run by Renong Bhd. and other firms, in the
nation's biggest such rescue, bankers involved in the transaction said.
Sekian, untuk renungkan rakyat yang bijaksana.
Sesungguhnya berita membawa makna.......
